The Woodward Dream Cruise, Inc. (WDC) today introduced the event logo for its 16th annual Woodward Dream Cruise to be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010.  In addition to the new logo, the WDC today also announced the launch of its new, redesigned website located at www.woodwarddreamcruise.com  

The new WDC event logo was designed by Mark Brendel who also designed last year’s logo. This year’s logo features a 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible.  In commenting on the new logo, Greg Rassel, president of Woodward Dream Cruise, Inc., said, “We wanted to pay homage to a great muscle car brand that closed its doors last year.  The ’67 Pontiac GTO optimizes that era of car and that’s why we chose it.”

 In addition to the new logo and website, look for exciting announcements coming up in the weeks and months leading up to the big event.   

 The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day celebration of car culture, attracting more than 1 million visitors and over 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles.
